Business philosopher Jim Rohn always said, “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day.” This is wonderful advice. For example, what if you:
- Started spending 30-60 minutes every day reading in your field of expertise?
- Began exercising four times every week and keeping track of it?
- Blocked out four hours every week to intentionally spend with your family members and stuck to it?
- Made it a daily practice to say thank you to someone and mean it?
You get the idea. As Rohn says, building these kinds of simple disciplines – none of which are huge or require a major change in your lifestyle – into strong habits can make a big
difference in how your life turns out. Why not give it a try? It can’t hurt and may provide substantial benefits.
