Integrity to me is so much more than honesty. One of the main components is keeping your word. So many of us commit to or promise things casually and don’t follow up. In fact, many people these days doubt that others will actually do what they say. How sad.
Keeping your word in big things and small ones is one of the best ways one can earn respect from colleagues and friends alike. Become excellent at it! I love how Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner put it: DWYSYWD. It stands for Do What You Say You Will Do. Focus on this one thing and amazing things will happen.
